Alpine, Wyoming

Our next stop after leaving Challis, Idaho was a four night stay in Alpine, Wyoming, a quiet town just outside of Jackson Hole, nestled in the shadow of the Grand Tetons. Winter activities are a big draw to this area, including some of the best snowmobiling and backcountry skiing in the country, where average snowfall can often exceed 500 inches. We were happy to make our visit in the warm days of June, when wildflowers were still blooming, birds and butterflies were in abundance, and we were able to spend time outdoors enjoying the gorgeous and scenic surroundings. I couldn’t get enough of this beautiful place, and hated to leave so soon, but our photographs provide  us with pleasant memories.
